Nothing wrong in seeking CBI probe: Mohanan

Kottayam: CITU state committee member Malayalappuzha Mohanan said there is nothing wrong in ADM Naveen Babu's family demanding a CBI probe and added that his family can ask for any type of probe if they are dissatisfied with the police investigation.
Meanwhile, Babu's brother Praveen Babu said that the petition for a CBI probe was filed since the police probe was unsatisfactory. We suspect murder and a new agency should probe the case to end all suspicions, he added.
BJP state president K Surendran visited Babu's family in Malayalappuzha on Wednesday. Later while speaking to reporters, he said the people of Kerala want CBI to probe the death of Naveen Babu. He alleged that the SIT is protecting the collector and CPM functionary PP Divya. He also alleged that evidence in the case is being destroyed.
