DPS Kalyanpur, Nurture School teams win boys’, girls’ title in chess

Kanpur: DPS Kalyanpur and Nurture School won boys and girls title in the chess event under Youth Olympic concluded here at Allen House Public School Khalasi Line on Sunday.The Winning DPS Kalyanpur boys team consisted of Anupam Dutta, Prabhav, Raghav and Apurna Anand. Chintal School emerged as runner up in the event. Manikya Advani, Suryansh Trivedi, Sanchay and Vedant placed their team in the second spot.Ditya Rupani, Purvish Bajpai, Rashika and Suvigya Singh of Nurture School Kalyanpur pushed leader DPS Kalyanpur team to the second place and emerged as champion. Shambhavi Pandey, Anupriya, Khushboo and Shreya Saxena were members of DPS Kalyanpur team.Table Tennis: Sir Padampat Singhania School won both boys and girls titles in table tennis events. Adwit Gupta, Omji Pandey, Aditya Singh were members of champion boys team and Srishti Mishra, Varnavi Mishra and Geet Rajdev were members of winning girls team.Nurture School Kalyanpur emerged as runner up in boys group while Allen House Public School team consisting Akriti Bhardwaj, Gunjan Ahuja and Arya Agrawal ended their campaign as runner up.Archery-Host Gaurav Memorial International School won both boys and girls events in the Archery championship. Heliger Borden Education Centre stood as runner up in the boys group and Nurture International School Kalyanpur got the second place in the girls group.
