Constitution Day today

Kanpur: District magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh announced that Constitution Day celebrations will take place on Nov 26, Tuesday, in accordance with govt directives. During the Amrit Kaal of Independence, the govt mandated the organisation of various programmes to mark Constitution Day.
Following official guidelines, the Preamble to the Constitution will be recited before Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar's statue at all municipal bodies, district/area panchayats, and offices/courts throughout the district, with distinguished public representatives in attendance.
The DM extended invitations to Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, District Panchayat chairman, Members of the Legislative Council, and all public representatives to attend the ceremony. The event will begin at 9:30 am in new auditorium at Sarsaiya Ghat.
