RPSC sets SI exam 2021 retest for Sept 20
Ajmer: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Tuesday announced that the re-examination for Sub Inspector recruitment exam-2021 will be held on Sept 20."The RPSC has issued the direction and eligibility on the official website and those candidates who appeared in the previous examination can only be allowed to make amendment or rectification in certain columns," said Ramniwas Mehta, secretary, RPSC.The RPSC portal will remain open from May 16 to 30. Candidates can log in using their registered mobile number and email to update their information. Their profile information from the old ID will be transferred to the new profile.Mehta said it is compulsory to fill the KYC details. On May 5, the commission cancelled the SI exam 2021 based on a Rajasthan High Court directive. The SOG arrested over 125 accused in connection with the alleged paper leak, including dummy candidates, trainees, paper mafia and brokers. RPSC chairman Utkal Ranjan Sahoo said the commission decided to conduct the re-examination as per the state govt directive dated May 6.A total of 3,83,097 candidates appeared in the previous SI exam-2021 conducted from Sept 13 to 14, 2021, with papers in general Hindi, general knowledge and general science. After the written test, physical test and interview, selected candidates joined training at RPA (Rajasthan Police Academy). The exam was conducted for 859 sub inspector and platoon commander posts in Rajasthan Police.
