Revision, hobbies drive students to secure high marks in Class 10
JAIPUR: Students who secured above 99% in Class 10 for which results were released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Wednesday said that their approach was regular revision of classroom teaching along with keeping room for hobbies.
For Rashika Saini, from Neerja Modi School, who scored 99.8% in Class 10, discipline was the key to achieving this feat.
“Discipline and dedication towards studies is what helped Rashika the most. She knew how much she had to study and she prepared accordingly. Her consistency has always helped her since childhood,” said Monika Saini, her mother. Rashika also regularly pursued her hobbies of playing tennis and dancing along with swimming to keep herself active.
From Jayshree Periwal High School, Avanti Gupta scored 99.2% in Class 10, with full marks in Sanskrit and Artificial Intelligence and 99 in Science and Social Science, respectively. “I was shocked when I saw my result; it was completely unexpected. I studied as my teachers guided me, with five hours of daily focused studying. Even on days when I did not feel 100%, I still pushed through.”
From Ryan International School, Mansarovar, Manas Goyal scored 99.2% with a perfect 100 in Mathematics, Science and French. Deepika Goyal, his mother, said, “For Manas, it was never a case of burning the midnight oil. He prioritised rest along with studies to keep his mind fresh. He studied during the day with short breaks in between, but whenever he sat, his concentration was undivided.”
A cricket enthusiast, Manas went to school daily even after his board exams were over and students were on leave, to play cricket along with his friends.
From Teoler High School, Shaunak Agarwal scored 99.2% in Class 10. His love for chess and football, kept him going through the exams. “It was a ritual for me to play either chess or football with my friends after every exam, to destress and then start preparing for the next subject. My teachers also helped me a lot guiding me at every step.”
