NEW DELHI: Rajasthan BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore received a death threat over the phone on Friday.
Rathore, a Rajya Sabha MP, was in Delhi when he received the call.
“The man called me and threatened to shoot me,” Rathore said.
Rathore explained that the caller began with insults and then issued the death threat. He has reported the incident to the police.
Rajasthan chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma, BJP state in-charge Radhamohan Das Agarwal, and other party leaders contacted Rathore after learning about the threat.
