Massive fire breaks out at Kota's City Mall

KOTA: A massive fire broke out on the second floor of the City Mall in Kota on Wednesday morning. The blaze started on the second floor at around 10.30 am, when most shops and outlets were yet to open, officials said. At least 12 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control. The fire was largely contained, though smoke continued to linger on the second floor. Kota Municipal Corporation's fire officer, Amjad Khan, told PTI, "No one was found trapped, and none were injured," adding that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police teams are at the spot and have begun an investigation into the incident.
