Kota JEE topper wants to work for digital revolution in India

JAIPUR: Shubhankar Gambhir has reaped the benefit of being a native of the coaching town Kota. Gambhir has scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main exam. It was an achievement attained by only 15 students and has brought him into the limelight. He has scored 100 percentile in Maths and Physics and in Chemistry, missed the 100 mark by 0.02 points.

Clear on his aim to pursue computer science from IIT-Bombay, Gambhir said, “My larger goal in life is to become a software coder.” An illustrious career in IT aboard is not appealing to him. “I would like to make an earnest effort in the digital revolution of the country. I want to make this revolution ‘inclusive’ so that every Indian can reap its benefits,” said Gambhir. The

is not aware as to when his interest in engineering took shape. But, he thinks that his interest in mathematics and seeing how the students from across the country come to his city for engineering and medical, has developed interest in him. “It is obvious that we have been raised hearing success stories from Kota. It has certainly helped develop an interest in me for this stream,” said Gambhir.

When asked that what advantage he enjoyed as a native of Kota over other students, Gambhir said, “I live with my parents, family, relatives and my pet. During the stressful days, I had my parents beside me. My twin sister is always there to talk to and so is my pet.” He prepared from Resonance Eduventures Pvt Ltd in Kota.
