Jaipur: Five students in the top 10 of the JEE Advanced 2026 results declared Monday attended coaching institutes in Rajasthan – four of them in Kota and one in Sikar.Shubham Kumar (AIR 1, from Gaya in Bihar), Kabeer Chhillar (AIR 2, from Gurgaon), Arnav Gautam (AIR 7, from Kota) and Kanishk Jain (AIR 8, from Pune) were all coached at the Allen Career Institute in Kota, while Jatin Chahar (AIR 3, from Jhunjhunu) studied at an institute in Sikar. The top-ranked female candidate in this year's merit list, Arohi Deshpande (AIR 77, from Pune), also prepared for JEE Advanced in Kota for the past four years. The results reinforce Rajasthan's status as the nation's premier coaching hub. With a score of 330 out of 360, Kumar, who secured AIR 1, said he took every challenge during his preparation as motivation. He moved to Kota two years ago for the final push in his preparations."Preparing for JEE often brings pressure, but I never let it become a weakness. I turned every challenge into motivation, and my entire focus was on my goal. My father always encouraged me to study, while my mother provided emotional and mental support. Whenever a topic seemed difficult, I would repeatedly ask questions to clear every concept from the basics, which strengthened my foundation," Kumar said.
