JAIPUR: About 31 students from Rajasthan reached New Delhi in two flights of Indigo Airlines on Tuesday. They were welcomed at Delhi airport by the principal residential commissioner of Rajasthan, Shubhra Singh, additional housing commissioner

Singh informed that out of the 31 students who arrived from Ukraine, arrangements have been made for them to stay overnight in Rajasthan House. While five of them will fly to Udaipur on Wednesday morning, the remaining students will be sent to their destinations in taxis and trains.

“The state government has made arrangements to bring back these students safely from the airport. We are committed to providing them whatever assistance can be given,” she said.

Meanwhile, some students who left in buses arranged by Indian government from Chernivtsi city of Ukraine on Monday, reached Bucharest city on Tuesday night. Shivansh Gautam, a student from Kota is among the students from Rajasthan travelling in the bus. His brother Devender Gautam told TOI, “We had a chat with him and he is safe. They have reached Bucharest and might stay for the night or will directly take a flight to India. We are expecting him to arrive on Wednesday morning in New Delhi.”

from Bharatpur has informed his family that he reached Hungary border on Tuesday night and after the documentation is complete, he will board a flight on Wednesday for New Delhi.
