Young Educationist Award given

INDORE: Prof Kamna Lad has been conferred the Young Educationist Award by the governor of Madhya Pradesh Ram Naresh Yadav at an education programme organized by Vishwa Brahmin Sangh, Indore. The president Vishwa Brahmin Sangh Yogendra Mahant and former mayor Uma Shashi Sharma were present on the occasion. She was awarded for her contribution in the field of education.

Prof Kamna is working as assistant professor in Arihant College and also rendering her services as visiting faculty in the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), DAVV. Being a research scholar in psychology, she is also contributing towards educational development of students by providing them psychological counseling.
Prestige students win: Prestige Institute of Engineering and Science, Indore, acquired first position in the state-level ‘Model completion of technological innovation’ organized by SGSITS, Indore, on the occasion of Engineer’s Day on September 15.
A team of five students Ashish Verma, Deepak Kamatkar, Krishnakant Naugaria, Nikhil Patni and Omprakash Sahu, of electronics and communication made a wireless robot. The model was made under the direction of Prof Jitendra Patidar and Prof Shraddha Bansal and co-ordinated by Hemant Tilbe.
The first-year students of EC Pratik Kanoje stood first in the same category. He also secured third position in the poster-making category. He made a poster on “Libra of Nature”.
Director of Prestige Institute of Engineering and Science, D R Pangavhane, president of Prestige educational trust N N Jain and other official members of the college congratulated the successful students.
