Woman enters house in Indore, brandishes knife, arrested
Indore: A routine afternoon in Adityanath Colony under Banganga police station limits spiralled into panic on Tuesday when a 25-year-old woman walked unannounced into a house and was found peering into rooms by startled family members.Residents said the woman quietly entered the premises and looked inside different rooms when the family confronted her. When questioned, she claimed she came to meet an acquaintance in the area and said his mobile phone was switched off. Suspicion mounted when her answers appeared evasive. A large crowd of neighbours reached the spot. As the family hinted at possible theft, the woman suddenly turned aggressive, pulled out a knife concealed inside her shoe, and began waving it while issuing threats.

In the chaos that followed, she also slashed her own hand with the knife, further alarming those present inside the house. Fearing the situation could escalate, the family dialled 112 for immediate assistance.A police team reached the spot and managed to calm her down before taking her into custody. She was later brought to Banganga police station for questioning.ACP Rubina Mizwani said the woman is a resident of the Lasudia area.
Preliminary verification revealed no prior criminal record against her. "A case under section 25 of the Arms Act was registered against the woman,"the ACP said.Police sources said the woman was a sex worker and was looking for the man who called her. Locals caught her during the process. After completing the necessary formalities, the police called her family members and handed her over to them.The video of the interaction, made by the neighbours and locals, went viral on social media on Wednesday.
