INDORE: Amid mounting public outrage and allegations of administrative failure following the deaths caused by contaminated water in Bhagirathpura, a new political row erupted late Wednesday night when Indore collector Shivam Verma and mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav visited 'Sudarshan,' the newly inaugurated office of the RSS in Rambagh area.
According to sources, the two participated in a one-on-one discussion with Malwa prant pracharak Rajmohan that lasted 90 minutes.

Sources within the RSS suggested that the meeting involved a serious discussion on the handling of the Bhagirathpura crisis and the perceived lack of coordination between the administration and elected officials.
The mayor arrived at the RSS office in a govt vehicle. Following the meeting, he returned home in his private car. Downplaying the visit, Bhargav later told newspersons, "I frequently visit the RSS office; today's visit was nothing unusual."
The visit has drawn sharp criticism from the Congress, with state spokesperson Amit Chaurasia calling the meeting a 'violation of administrative decorum'. "People are dying from toxic water, and the collector is showcasing political loyalty at an RSS office. This raises serious questions about neutrality," Chaurasia said.
Previously, organisation GS Hitanand held a closed-door meet with the mayor and corporators, advising them to avoid unnecessary public statements, sources said.
