Five-year old dies after falling from third floor

Indore: A five-year-old boy died after falling from third-floor gallery of a residential building in Siddharth Nagar under Gandhi Nagar police station limits on Saturday afternoon. This was the second tragedy for the family as the child had already lost his father six months ago.The boy, Goransh, was playing in the gallery with his elder sister around 3 pm when the incident occurred. According to preliminary information, the child leaned over the railing, lost balance and fell headfirst to the ground.Family members rushed him to Aurobindo Hospital but he succumbed to injuries during treatment. Police said Goransh's grandfather was also there in the gallery watching him. He had briefly stepped inside the house when the incident took place.Police have registered a case and initiated inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
