Cattle feed factory & scrap warehouse catch fire

Indore: Fire broke out at an cattle feed factory near Devguradia in Bicholi Hapsi and a scrap warehouse in Lasudia area. No casualties were reported.The blaze at the factory, operated by Vinit Agrawal, broke out around 11:30 pm. Fire officials said flames spread rapidly due to presence of sacks and chemicals stored inside the unit. Two fire tenders reached the spot and it took nearly two hours to bring the situation under control.Around 47,000 litre water were used to douse the fire, with local residents also assisting the firefighting efforts. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.In another incident, a scrap warehouse near SR Compound in Lasudia caught fire shortly after midnight. Passersby noticed smoke billowing from the premises and alerted the police. Firefighters responded and managed to contain the blaze using nearly 25,000 litre water.Authorities said no injuries or loss of life were reported in either incident. Fire officials have initiated a probe to ascertain the cause of both the incidents.
