This cancer awareness walk was a merry affair

Hundreds of Hyderabadis took to the streets in solidarity with close to 800 cancer survivors to spread awareness about the deadly disease. Celebrities like Jayasudha, Gautami, Naresh, Shivaji Raja and Mumaith Khan were the star attractions of the event titled ‘Winners Walk’ which was flagged off from Jalavihar in Necklace Road on Sunday morning. A band of bikers led the walk that culminated at People’s Plaza. Performances of Kolattam and Oggu Dolu added a dash of ethnic Telangana flavour to the proceedings. It was definitely a Sunday morning well spent.
