T hub partners with Tripura govt to develop long term startup ecosystem
Hyderabad: T-Hub on Thursday said it partnered with the Tripura govt's Directorate of Information Technology (DIT) to develop a structured, long-term startup ecosystem in the north-eastern state.The collaboration comes as Tripura's startup landscape is gathering momentum, with recognised startups estimated to have grown about 66% over the past 5 years across technology, services and emerging sectors.

Under the partnership, Hyderabad-based T-Hub will work with DIT, the nodal authority for technology initiatives under Tripura's industries and commerce department, to design and operationalise incubation frameworks.Planned interventions include support for the state's incubation centre and innovation park, preparation of detailed project reports, acceleration programmes, mentor exchange initiatives, leadership workshops, startup showcases and investor connect platforms.The agreement was formalised during the launch of Tripura's new innovation and incubation initiatives, including the inauguration of T-NEST (Tripura Nurturing Entrepreneurship and Startups), positioned as the state's flagship incubation hub.
The effort is aligned with the New Sector Agnostic Tripura Startup Policy and complements the Union Budget 2026–2027 focus on entrepreneurship and digital infrastructure in the North-East, T-Hub said.DIT Director (IT) and head of Startup Tripura, Jeya Ragul Geshan B, said the partnership aims to build founder-centric support and integrate entrepreneurs into national and global networks. T-Hub CEO Kavikrut said regional ecosystems will shape the next phase of India's startup growth.
