SCR to ply 30 special trains

Hyderabad: South Central Railway will be operating 30 special trains to meet the pilgrim rush for Sammakka Saralamma Jatara which will be held from Feb 21-24 in Medaram. Special trains will be operated from different places to Warangal station, which is the nearest railway station to reach Medaram. According to officials, all these trains will be operated as Jansadharan special trains, having completely unreserved coaches. In fact, unlike previous occasions wherein special trains were operated from only two locations, this year, these special trains will be operated from Secunderabad, Adilabad, Khammam, Nizamabad and Sirpur-Kaghaznagar. These trains will also stop at all major stations enroute. Of 30 special trains, 10 will operate between Secunderabad-Warangal-Secunderabad. tnn
