Rs 18 lakh heist at SR Nagar

NagarRslakh The incident happened at DV Rama Raju's duplex house at SRT Colony in SR Nagar. Raju along with his wife Janaki stays at the house. On Tuesday morning, Raju's daughter-in-law, who stays in Madhapur, had given them her gold jewellery for safe keeping as she was going out of station.The senior couple placed the jewellery in a cupboard on the ground floor and in the night they slept on the first floor. On Wednesday morning, Raju noticed that the window grill on the ground floor was open and the gold ornaments kept in the cup board along with Rs 8,000 cash was missing. Based on a complaint lodged by Raju, police booked a burglary case under section 457/380 of the IPC.
