The Committee discussed measures to strengthen livelihoods, promote financial inclusion, boost economic activity, and enhance digital empowerment among street vendors.
During the meeting, Kiran Kumar Reddy highlighted key challenges faced by vendors, including difficulties in obtaining beneficiary certificates, documentation hurdles, identification of genuine beneficiaries, and delays in the issuance of credit cards.
Later, he told reporters in the national capital that the Centre is neglecting the farmers in Telangana. “The Centre is buying only 38 percent of the total paddy produced in Telangana but was buying up to 80 per cent in other states,” he alleged.
“Moreover, Union minister
G Kishan Reddy is from Telangana but he is not doing anything related to farmers or for development in Telangana. The people are watching and will not accept the BJP,” he added.
