Police arrest four in connection with a murder in Mudalagi

Belagavi: Mudalagi police arrested four accused, including a minor, in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old man in Mudalagi on Wednesday. Timmanna Vitthal Gaddivaddar, was brutally murdered on Saturday on the outskirts of Mudalagi.Police launched an investigation based on a complaint filed by Laxman Siddappa Bandivaddar, and took into custody the accused Parashuram Bandivaddar, 19, Nagaraj Bandivadder, 20, Sanju Nimbalkar, 28, and a minor who conflicts with the law.Police said that the deceased had allegedly harassed a woman from the accused’s family and forced her to love him. The deceased was allegedly warned against meeting or harassing the girl and he paid no heed to the warnings. Police suspect that the accused may have murdered the young man for this reason.Mudalagi PSI RN Pujari informed that a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
