Passengers hurt as KKRTC bus hits tree in Kudligi

Kudligi: Several people, including the bus crew, were injured after a KKRTC bus crashed into a tree in Kudligi town on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred near a dhaba on Gudekote Road when the driver tried to avoid a bike. The impact severely damaged the right portion of the bus. Driver Shashidhar suffered a fracture in his right leg, while conductor Alli Patil sustained injuries on his face. Sixty-two passengers, including students, were on board the bus at the time of the accident. Many of them suffered minor injuries. On receiving information, Kudligi station CPI Prahlad R Channagiri and PSI C Prakash visited the spot and shifted the injured to the town's govt hospital for treatment. A case has been registered at Kudligi station
