New weekly train services to boost connectivity between Telangana, K’taka
Hubballi: South Central Railway has notified the introduction of three pairs of new weekly express train services connecting Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Charlapalli with Belagavi, providing enhanced rail connectivity between Karnataka and Telangana.
Train No. 17071 Hyderabad–Belagavi Weekly Express will commence service from Hyderabad from May 21 and will depart every Thursday at 16.30hrs to reach Belagavi at 10.30hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 17072 Belagavi–Hyderabad Weekly Express will commence service from Belagavi from May 15 and will depart every Friday at 13.00hrs to reach Hyderabad at 7.00hrs on the following day. The train will consist of 22 LHB coaches comprising one AC first class coach, three AC 2-tier coaches, four AC 3-tier coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, one pantry car, four general second class coaches, one luggage-cum-brake van with Divyangjan-friendly compartment and one luggage-cum-generator car and brake van.
Train No. 17073 Secunderabad–Belagavi Weekly Express will commence service from Secunderabad from May 18 and will depart every Monday at 16.30hrs to reach Belagavi at 10.30hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 17074 Belagavi–Secunderabad Weekly Express will commence service from Belagavi from May 19 and will depart every Tuesday at 13.00hrs to reach Secunderabad at 7.15hrs on the following day. The train will consist of 22 LHB coaches including two AC 2-tier coaches, seven AC 3-tier coaches, seven sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches, one luggage-cum-brake van with Divyangjan-friendly compartment and one luggage-cum-generator car and brake van.
Train No. 17075 Charlapalli–Belagavi Weekly Express will commence service from Charlapalli from May 16 and will depart every Saturday at 16.00hrs to reach Belagavi at 10.30hrs on Sunday. In the return direction, Train No. 17076 Belagavi–Charlapalli Weekly Express will commence service from Belagavi from May 17 and will depart every Sunday at 13.00hrs to reach Charlapalli at 8.45hrs on Monday. The train will consist of 24 ICF coaches comprising three AC 2-tier coaches, five AC 3-tier coaches, ten sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches and two second class luggage-cum-brake vans.
The trains will stop at Begumpet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Ballari, Daroji, Toranagallu, Hosapete, Koppal, Gadag, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa and Khanapur stations in both directions. Train No. 17075/17076 will also have a stoppage at Secunderabad.
