NEET aspirant found dead by suicide in Kalaburagi
Kalaburagi: A young woman who appeared for the NEET examination this year, died by hanging herself at her home in an apartment near Court Circle, Kalaburagi on Sunday, police said. The deceased has been identified as Bhagyashree Rajasekhar, 18, a student who secured 92% in her II PUC examination. She had appeared for the NEET examination on May 2, and aspired to pursue medical education.
The deceased girl’s father, Rajasekhar, said his daughter had high expectations from the NEET exam. “But I don’t know if there was any anxiety about the result. No death note was found. The reason for the suicide has not been disclosed. She was very good with us. We will not complain to anyone,” he cried. Station Bazar police have registered a case, and further investigation was under way.
