Rs 18 lakh Hublot watch on Congress MLA K Raghavendra Hitnal’s wrist sets off chatter
KOPPAL: Aglittering luxury watch on the wrist of Congress MLA K Raghavendra Hitnal stole the spotlight at a village programme and quickly turned into the hottest talking point in the area.
The timepiece caught the eyes of locals almost instantly, with many whispering about the watch long after the speeches ended.
Soon, photos of the MLA wearing the luxury watch began circulating.
Hitnal, however, was quick to clear the air, saying the watch was not his.
According to him, he had earlier given his own watch to a friend, who in turn lent him the Hublot for a day. "I wore it for just one day. What is wrong with that?" Hitnal said.
