Women explore gems of the past on heritage walk
Dhubri: International Woman’s Day was celebrated in an innovative fashion by the Abhijna-eMuseum with a heritage walk in Dhubri town.Abhijna-eMuseum is an online and virtual web museum working for conservation of heritage sites.

Women academicians, lawyers, working girls and students joined the walk to explore the colonial past, historic buildings and religious sites, and visited places over 400-year old, including Queen Victoria statue (1905) at Vivekananda More in Tetultola and Brahma Mondir (1875).One of participants, advocate Pronotee Roy Sarkar, said she was amazed to hear the hidden stories behind every sites.
