Saha talks to Haryana CM over attack on Tripura girl
Agartala: Tripura CM Manik Saha on Wednesday spoke to his Haryana counterpart Nayab Singh Saini regarding the violent assault on a biotechnology engineering student from Tripura by her live-in partner at a paying guest facility in Gurugram.Saha also personally reached out to the victim’s mother, assuring her of the Tripura Government’s full support.

“Today, I communicated with the CM of Haryana regarding the assault on the student in Gurugram. He assured me that he would personally oversee the situation and take all necessary measures to ensure justice for the victim,” Saha told the media.He added, “I also spoke with the victim’s mother and assured her of all possible support from our state govt. I have directed the chief resident commissioner at Tripura Bhawan, Delhi, to stay close to the family and offer every possible assistance. At my request, social welfare minister Tinku Roy visited the hospital to evaluate the situation and provide help.”
