Mizoram guv interacts with 14 youths selected for young leaders’ meet
Aizawl: Mizoram governor Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh on Monday interacted with 14 selected youth representatives and state officials ahead of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2026.The send-off programme was held at Durbar Hall, Lok Bhavan, where the governor welcomed the participants and extended his best wishes for their success at the national-level event.

Highlighting Mizoram’s potential across various sectors, the governor lauded the talents of the state’s youth and said the 14 participants, chosen for their performances, will represent Mizoram at the VBYLD in New Delhi. He encouraged them to prepare diligently with a winning mindset and strong self-confidence, and expressed confidence that they would bring laurels to the state.During the interaction, the governor discussed the participants’ assigned topics and their preparations. The young leaders expressed gratitude to the government for the opportunity and thanked the governor for the interaction, assuring that they would give their best to represent Mizoram.The programme was attended by additional secretary to the governor Joseph Lalrinawma among other officials.The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 is scheduled to be held from Jan 9 to 12 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
