National Youth Day (Swami Vivekananda Jayanti) celebrations at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sunpura in Lohit district, Mein highlighted Mission Shikshit Arunachal 2029, which seeks full compliance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, strengthening foundational learning, improving secondary-level performance, and equipping students with 21st-century skills.

Underscoring the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals, Mein said character-building, discipline, courage, and service form the foundation of nation-building. He urged the youth to pursue excellence with integrity and a spirit of service, noting their role as active contributors to development and social transformation.
On the occasion, Mein inaugurated a new academic block and unveiled a statue of Swami Vivekananda.
