Coordination meeting held on Koridang bypoll

Dimapur: A coordination meeting between the contesting candidates/election agents, district nodal officers of EEM/EVM/manpower management/transport management cell/postal ballot/ model code of conduct/ media management cell on the upcoming Koridang assembly constituency by-election was held at Mokokchung DC’s conference hall on Friday.During the meeting, held in accordance with the provisions of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, returning officer Nockpai Konyak and nodal officer, expenditure monitoring cell Kewimesin Nriame briefed on the model code of conduct relating to the electioneering procedures laid down by the Election Commission of India, which needed to be strictly adhered to by all the candidates.
