2 churches looted in Shillong

Shillong: Two churches in the city were looted over the last couple of days.
Money and other valuables were stolen from the Grotto church in the Laitumkhrah locality of the city in the wee hours of Tuesday and the Unitarian Church at Madan Laban was looted by burglars who broke in early next morning.
The headman of Madan Laban and the chairman of the Unitarian Church and others rushed to the church after the incidents came to light this morning.
Separate cases have been registered with the police regarding both the cases of burglary. Investigation is on.
