Arunachal BJP prez urges Assam to vote for good governance
Itanagar: Arunachal BJP president Kaling Moyong has appealed to the people of Assam to vote for good governance, development-oriented policies and democratic values for nation-building, rather than supporting family-based politics.Moyong made this remark while participating in the 131st edition of the Mann Ki Baat programme at Bhaliphukri in Biswanath, Assam, on Sunday. He emphasised the importance of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme in the context of the Assam assembly polls, the party said in a statement.

Both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are now governed by the same party, Moyong said, and their mutual understanding is clearly reflected in their coordinated development efforts.The people of Arunachal Pradesh have already demonstrated their faith in BJP by electing 46 MLAs out of 60 in the 2024 assembly elections and by securing around 90% of seats in the recent local body elections, he said.Moyong expressed confidence that the people of Assam will once again vote for BJP in the assembly polls.
