Dibrugarh: In a vibrant ceremony, the Army’s Spear Corps flagged off a national integration tour for tribal students from Tinsukia district on Wednesday. The initiative, part of the Army’s ongoing Operation Sadbhavana, aims to connect youth from the northeastern region with the nation’s diverse cultural and military heritage.
The tour will see the students travel first to New Delhi for an audience with the President at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, alongside visits to historical monuments. The journey will then proceed to Mumbai for a glimpse of Indian Naval prowess aboard warships. A key highlight will be a visit to the Armoured Corps Centre and School in Ahmednagar, where students will get up-close with battle tanks.
