221 ICAR staff receive training in governance & leadership
Shillong: As many as 221 ICAR employees, including 65 scientific, 44 administrative, 86 technical, 11 finance and 15 supporting staff members, received training on governance, enhancement of service delivery, and promotion of leadership in public administration. The event was held from Jan 22 to Feb 10 under Centre’s ‘Rashtriya Karmayogi Large-Scale Jan Seva Programme – From Learning to Action’ initiative.The training was held at the ICAR research complex for North Eastern Hill Region in Ri-Bhoi district.

According to a statement, the objective of the programme was to transform existing work culture by shifting from traditional approaches to modern and progressive practices. The initiative aimed to foster modern thinking and enhance the skill sets of govt staff under the Karmayogi Mission.
