elections, has lined up these promises, and more, in its ‘Vision Document’, likely to be announced soon.

The Dushyant Chautala-led party plans to focus on wooing young voters. Party insiders told TOI that a committee, comprising two members each from the JJP and its ally in the state, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has been formed. It will focus on the requirements of each Lok Sabha constituency as well as the party’s state-level plans.

Among the key promises in its vision document would be a statue of freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh in Jind. Though not a ‘Haryanvi’, the revolutionary is a big draw for the younger generation in the state. The JJP is also set to promise 75% reservation for Haryana youth in private jobs. It may bring out an act on the lines of Right to Work, and ensure that each person in the state either has a job or is eligible for unemployment allowance till they get work. The party also plans 3% reservation in jobs for retired para-military servicemen and their wards.

In Gurugram and Faridabad, the party may focus on the burning issue of environment and conservation of the Aravalis.
