Gurgaon: Nuh DC, Prashant Panwar, has written to revenue administration seeking the replacement of district officer
Joginder Sharma for being absent from work and not informing the office, resulting in disruptions to the department's operations.
"It is respectfully brought to your attention that District Revenue Officer Joginder Sharma was absent from the office without any prior notice, which is causing disruption in revenue-related work. Therefore, you are requested to kindly appoint another District Revenue Officer in place of Mr. Joginder Sharma," read the letter sent by the DC on November 27.
TOI reached out to Panwar, who did not comment on the matter despite repeated attempts.
The DRO position in Nuh district was established in 1983. This official serves as the key administrator assisting DC in executing responsibilities associated with revenue and recovery works.
DC holds the highest revenue judicial authority across the district, and is accountable to the govt in revenue matters through the divisional commissioner and financial commissioner, revenue.
