Karnataka Weather News Updates: Rain takes break; Orange alert for coastal areas
The intensity of the rain, in spite of a red alert, had reduced considerably giving some respite to people in affected areas of both the Karnataka's coastal districts, so were the water levels in the rivers. The sun also came out briefly in both the districts. IMD issued an orange alert for the three coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada for Friday.
