NEW DELHI: A private school in Delhi's Rohini received a bomb threat by email on Friday, day after a low-intensity explosion in the nearby Prashant Vihar area in which one person was injured.
According to an official, a call was received from the Delhi Police about bomb threat email at 10.57 am.
A team of the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) immediately reached the spot and thorough search of the school was conducted by police, a bomb disposal squad, a dog squad, and fire service personnel.
A fire service officer stated that “Non suspicious object was found and the threat was declared a hoax."
Police are investigating the source of the bomb threat.
