South India Flood Live Updates: IMD issues 'orange alert' in two districts in Kerala

Heavy rain lashed Bengaluru on Tuesday, leading to widespread flooding and severe disruption of daily life across the city. Around 150 houses in various localities were submerged due to the downpour. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘orange alert’ for Bengaluru on Wednesday and Thursday, warning of more heavy rain. IMD has issued a red alert for October 16 and an orange alert for October 15 and 17 across various parts of Tamil Nadu.
