New Delhi: A 35-year-old man, Rohit Mishra, has been arrested for allegedly duping people with fake airline job offers.
A complaint was received from a woman, Ritu Singh, who alleged she was cheated on the pretext of an airline job offer by unknown persons. She received an email and follow-up messages through which the man gained her confidence. She was induced to make multiple payments for processing fees, uniform charges and other formalities.

DCP Shahdara Prashant Gautam said a police team analysed call records, technical data and digital footprints of the man. A raid in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, led to Mishra's arrest. Police said he was also involved in a cheating case earlier.
Police seized a mobile phone with a WhatsApp profile in an airline's name, multiple QR codes, a fake Letter of Intent and other forged documents used for committing the fraud.
