NEW DELHI: A 65-year-old owner of an electronic showroom in Shahdara was allegedly bludgeoned to death by his younger brothers following an argument over their

property

.


His family has told the cops that the property was divided among the three siblings equally. Lately, the younger brothers accused the eldest, Virender Sharma, one of holding on their share and attacked him with sticks in which he suffered severe head injuries and died during treatment on Friday. The accused were detained.

The incident happened earlier last week at the Gorakh Park. Sharma had got into the argument with his brothers, Raj and Ajay Sharma after dinner. His son told the cops that they dragged him to the ground floor and kicked him several times before he fainted. Following this, he was admitted to a hospital, but he died on Friday of a heart failure.

DCP (Shahdara) Meghna Yadav said case of culpable homicide was registered.
