NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old shopkeeper was allegedly robbed of Rs 14 lakh by three unidentified men at gunpoint and knifepoint in northwest Delhi’s Model Town area, police said on Saturday.According to police, PCR call about the incident was received at the Model Town police station on Friday.

The victim identified as Kartik, a resident of Mahendru Enclave, told police that he was inside his shop watching a film when three men entered. They reportedly told him they needed help updating their mobile numbers in their Aadhaar details.According to police, once inside, one of the men locked the shop door from within. Another allegedly held a pistol to Kartik’s head, while the third pressed a knife against his neck and demanded money."The trio decamped with a bag containing Rs 14 lakh in cash," said the officer.A case has been registered and a search has been launched to trace the suspects. Police are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area as part of the investigation.
