He is undergoing treatment at a Community Health Centre (CHC). The incident occurred in Malladesh Farsali village around 8 am when Anand Giri, son of Devendra Giri, was playing outside his home. The animal suddenly emerged and attacked him, leaving him injured. Despite the attack, the boy managed to escape by running to safety. On hearing his screams, family members and nearby residents rushed to the spot and raised an alarm, prompting the wild boar to flee into the forest. The injured boy was taken to the health centre in a private vehicle. Doctors said he sustained injuries to both legs and is receiving primary treatment. The attack occurred close to residential houses, leaving villagers in fear. Locals said incidents of wild animal movement have increased in the area over the past few months.
