12-year-old boy found with throat slit in Cuttack

Cuttack: The body of a minor boy, who was missing since Saturday, was found with his throat slit in Cuttack on Sunday. The family of the minor alleged he had been killed. Police said locals spotted the body near a pond around 7 am, some 400 metres away from his residence. The deceased was 12 years old and was studying in Class VII. Police said on Saturday, the boy’s parents scolded him for not studying. He left home and did not return. His family launched a search but failed to find him. “Seeing the deep injury marks on his neck, it is suspected to be a case of murder,’ ACP Arun Swain said. TNN

Leopard kills 10-year-old boy, forest teams search for feline

A 2.5-year-old boy was drowned by his aunt in Bawana. The aunt reported the boy missing while playing outside the house. The boy's body was found in the water tank on the terrace.
