KRISHNAGIRI: The Krishnagiri town police have arrested two men for sexually harassing a disabled young man. On Aug 27 night, the disabled youth was talking to a woman at the Krishnagiri bus stand.
Hasan Ali, 33, who runs a fancy store at the bus stand, recorded a video of the interaction. He threatened the young man, stating that he would report to police if he did not accompany him.
"Ali took him to a hiding place and sexually assaulted him," said an officer at the Krishnagiri town police station. After Ali, Adhiyaman, 39, of Arasampatti too sexually assaulted the youth.
The youth lodged a complaint with the Krishnagiri town police on Aug 29. Also, he filed a complaint with superintendent of police P Thangadurai on Sept 2. After conducting an inquiry, the police arrested both Ali and Adhiyaman on Tuesday night. They were remanded in judicial custody.
