Man electrocuted in Salem

Salem: A 38-year-old man was electrocuted at his house in Salem city on Saturday.The deceased has been identified as P Kasi Viswanathan, 38, of Vasantham Nagar, in Dhadhakapatty. He was an electrician by profession and is survived by his wife and two sons.Police said around 7 am, he poured water into a water heater at his house to take a bath. He suffered a shock when he touched it to check if the water was hot, and fell unconscious. He was rushed to a private hospital but died on the way.Annadhanapatty police have registered a case and are investigating.
