Three arrested for gangraping woman near Ranipet in Tamil Nadu
RANIPET: Police arrested three men on Monday on charges of gang raping a 19-year-old woman after assaulting her boyfriend and chasing him away near Ranipet.
Her boyfriend, who rushed to the village, alerted her parents, relatives and villagers. Her parents and others reached the spot and rescued her. They managed to trace the three men and handed them over to the police. The three men admitted to gang raping the woman.
Police produced the three before a local court, which remanded them in judicial custody. The girl was admitted to a private hospital for medical examination and treatment.

Inquiries also revealed that the three were repeat offenders, and they attempted to sexually assault a woman three days ago sexually.Police produced the three before a local court, which remanded them in judicial custody.
