NEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Tuesday accused the ruling DMK of humiliating a Scheduled Caste government employee in Tindivanam and shared a video of the alleged incident on social media.According to Annamalai, the footage shows local DMK councillors “cornering” the employee and forcing him to fall at the feet of councillor Ramya as an apology.
He described the act as an insult not only to the individual but to the Scheduled Caste community as a whole.“This is not the first time DMK has humiliated public servants,” Annamalai alleged in a post on X. He further claimed that earlier, DMK minister Raja Kannappan had abused a government servant using caste slurs.“What the DMK parades as Social Justice is, in truth, nothing more than Social Injustice,” he added, calling for accountability from the ruling party.
