PATIALA: Authorities have issued an urgent flood alert for Devigarh areas in Patiala district after heavy rainfall in Ambala and Kala Amb caused the Tangri River to rise near danger levels. Officials have warned that the water level is expected to increase further within the next 10–12 hours in Patiala, posing a threat to several villages of Patiala district.On the right side of the river, Mehmodpur Rudki, Devinagar, Harigarh, Rohar Jagir, Lelan Jagir, Dudhangujran, Adaltiwala, and Maghar Sahib may be affected.
