CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu govt on Monday appointed former Chennai police commissioner A Arun as the director of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC). According to an order issued by the state home department, additional director general of police (ADGP) T S Anbu has been posted as ADGP, law and order, replacing Maheshwar Dayal. Dayal has been transferred and posted as ADGP, administration, Chennai. The transfer order was issued by additional chief secretary to government K Manivasan. The officers concerned should assume charge of their new postings with immediate effect, it said.
